Safety Controls

Compunetix holds itself accountable to rigorous physical, logical, process, and management controls throughout its business. For systems that are processing controlled unclassified information (CUI), this commitment is demonstrated through our attestation to compliance with NIST SP 800-171 requirements, which establishes our successful adoption of a POAM and SSP. Since 2018 Compunetix has met required foundations of NIST SP 800-171, which forms the basis of our contractual commitments under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

RoHS

The Restriction of Hazardous Substance Directive or RoHS requires that the use of certain hazardous materials that are commonly used in electronics and electronic equipment be restricted severely. The six hazardous materials restricted by this directive are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ether. The RoHS directive went into effect on July 1, 2006.
